Home to many of the Rockies\u2019 biggest hits, including Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Johnston Canyon, and the start of the Icefields Parkway. Note that reservations for popular activities (such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/reservation.pc.gc.ca\/create-booking\/results?mapId=-2147483634&amp;searchTabGroupId=3&amp;bookingCategoryId=9&amp;_gl=1*4bdzkj*_ga*NjExMjU3NDA3LjE3MzQzNTk0OTg.*_ga_PC690N3X7Z*czE3NTAyNTU5NjAkbzM4JGcxJHQxNzUwMjU3MTMxJGo1OCRsMCRoMA..&amp;_ga=2.7817906.148254755.1750172514-611257407.1734359498\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">lakes shuttle<\/a>) are still required, even though park fees are waived.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jasper National Park:<\/strong> The quieter of the two big national parks in the Rockies, but no less impressive. Don\u2019t miss Maligne Lake and Maligne Pass, the Skyline hike, and the Tonquin Valley trail.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Waterton Lakes National Park:<\/strong> If you want to avoid the crowds in the Rockies, head south to Waterton Lakes. Made up of glaciers, grasslands, waterfalls and hot springs, Kootenay is a haven for hikers wanting to experience a variety of landscapes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mount Revelstoke National Park:<\/strong> Home to a mix of rainforest and mountains, Mount Revelstoke is the only mountain in the national parks a short walk from the car park that can be climbed. Visitors love the Meadows in the Sky scenic drive and the variety of hiking trails.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Yoho National Park:<\/strong> One of the prettiest parks in B.C., Yoho is made up of waterfalls, alpine lakes and forest. Note that reservations for popular activities (such as <a href=\"https:\/\/parks.canada.ca\/pn-np\/on\/bruce\/activ\/emplacements-locations\/parking\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Grotto parking<\/a>) are still required, even though park fees are waived.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fathom Five National Marine Park:<\/strong> The only national marine conservation area in the province, this unique park offers boat trips and scuba diving to explore multiple shipwrecks. The other highlight is the famous Flowerpot Island rock formations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Point Pelee National Park:<\/strong> Why not say you\u2019ve been to the southernmost point of the Canadian mainland with a trip to Point Pelee? It\u2019s one of the smallest national parks but also one of the most ecologically diverse.
