- 31/08/11, 14:47 #1Hello everyone. I wish I could speak in English about Canada and especially the beautiful city of Montreal.
Speaking of sports, culture, outputs, activities .. everything !
Let's talk about your experiences in Canada.
Thank you, waiting for your answers, very soon I hope !
- 31/08/11, 15:11 #2That's a great idea! Even though I'm not quite in Canada yet... (soonish) so maybe later. I'll just read you guys for now.
It's a good opportunity to practice a little
- 01/09/11, 11:50 #3Hi Lucy !
I'm not in Montreal or even Canada, but it's not a problem for discuss your projects about Canada
If you want to talk about your project in English, It's with pleasure !
- 01/09/11, 11:59 #4Hey Kevin, do you already know Montréal? When are you planning to land there? What is your canadian project?
- 01/09/11, 12:32 #5Hey !
I've never been to Montreal, unfortunately, but I learned a lot about this town (and about Canada in general).
I wish I could be in Montréal in four or five years, after my BAC and after working a bit in France to save money.
My canadian project ? Successfully in obtaining permanent residence in order to settle and work in Canada is for this reason that I try to improve my English as much as possible.
- 01/09/11, 12:52 #6I didn't realize you were that young! If it's just after your bac, you only have a couple of years to go before discovering Canada! Don't you want to go to another canadian region if you want to improve your english? do you want to do a working holiday visa before a permanent one?

- 01/09/11, 13:18 #7No I will not leave immediately after my degree, but in 4-5 years, after working here (in a fast-food for example or in a bar) to save money. (Actually, I've 16 years old, so, to 20-21 years)
I would like to visit another province of Canada, but it's not currently possible.
For a pvt, I can stay only one year, and I wish stay more longer, at least the first 5 years of permanent residence.
To improve my English, I intend to do that here and work more as possible, even if not at all the same that thing to practice it every day in an English speaking country.
- 02/09/11, 21:55 #8(Yeah, actually that's true... )
Well I'm landing next wednesday in Montreal. Will stay for 3 nights for a short visit, then head to Québec city.
I have a work experience as a violin maker/restorer there and will stay for six months at least, then back to France and then probably to Québec again! I also have another work experience planned for April, in Montréal.
Of course I want to discover as much as I can about Canada, Québec, with it's people and the Grand Nature, but I also want to carry on playing music, practice yoga and climbing (maybe), and learn to play the "clawhammer" style banjo as well as traditional canadian and québécois music
