Hi, my name is Lucie and I’m 21 years old. I’m currently doing an internship at pvtistes.net in parallel with my masters in communication and marketing.

No, I haven’t had the chance to go on a working holiday yet.

3. If you did go on one, what destination would you choose?
If I could go on a WHV, I would surely choose Canada. I’ve always heard good things about it from people who have travelled or lived there. There are incredible places and I would love to see the landscapes during autumn!

4. What countries have you visited, and what has travel brought you?
I’ve had the chance to visit several different places, both for vacation and for school. I’ve visited countries in Europe (Greece, Spain, Italy, Germany…) and the US (New York and Atlanta).

5. Any advice on how to make the most of trips abroad?
Keep an open mind, take in the culture, step outside of your comfort zone, and try to exchange with locals – especially if you don’t speak the local language.

For the moment, my plan is to complete my masters and hopefully continue with the pvtistes team beyond my internship!

I don’t have any anecdotes in mind, but I think that expecting the unexpected is very important when abroad, and these surprises are exactly what make travel enriching!
