By using the pvtistes.net link, you can check in a piece of luggage up to 23 kg for free on your flights between Canada and Europe* (either direction) operated by the Québec-based Canadian airline, Air Transat. This offer is available to:
- Holders of temporary work permits. Among others, this includes the Working Holiday Visa, Canadian IEC permits, and the Canadian Francophone Mobility work permit.
- Holders of student visas.
- The partner, parents, and siblings of one of the above mentioned categories, travelling on the same date and on the same reservation. You should bring proof of your relationship.
This offer can be used multiple times during the validity of your work or study permit.
*European destinations served by Air Transat: Belgium, Croatia, England, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, the Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland.
If you are travelling with a child, you can reserve his/her ticket under the same booking as yours, but (s)he will not be eligible for a free 23 kg bag.
If you are travelling with your partner, parent(s), or sibling(s), they can benefit from this Air Transat offer too, but they must be travelling under the same reservation and itinerary as you. You may be asked to show proof of your familial relation, so bring relevant documentation.
- Round trip tickets: If you book a roundtrip for you and your companions under the same reservation and the same itinerary (there and back), then all of you will get free luggage on both legs of the journey.
- One way: If you book a one way flight for you and your companions under the same reservation and the same itinerary, then all of you will get free luggage.
Return flights can be purchased up to one year in advance, so if your plan is to stay in your destination (Canada or Europe) for more than 12 months, it’s best to book just a one way ticket rather than a round trip.
