Car insurance is not included in your rental. Ensure you verify with your credit card company on your car rental coverage abroad. Please note that credit card coverage doesn’t generally cover for third party liability nor for personal accident coverage. Thus it is mandatory that you have all information beforehand to know exactly what to buy in terms of coverage at time of rental. Coverage sold by the car rental company is often expensive but if anything should happen, they are extremely useful.
