In other words, Air Transat will carry a piece of checked luggage at no cost. Note that you won’t get a refund on any luggage fees charged, this offer only gives eligible passengers the opportunity to travel with an extra piece of luggage at no additional cost.
You can take advantage of this special offer as many times as you wish for the entire duration of your study or work permit.
Who can benefit from this special offer on Air Transat flights?
To be eligible, passengers must hold one of the following:
- An International Experience Canada (IEC) permit (Working Holiday, Young Professionals or International Co-op permit); or
- A study permit.
- A valid employer-specific work permit.
- A valid spousal work permit.
If you are traveling with your spouse, who does not yet have a work permit, they are also eligible for the offer, provided that they are traveling on the same dates as you and that the tickets are purchased in the same booking. On the day of your trip, make sure to have proof of your relationship.
The immediate relatives of qualifying visa holders (father, mother, siblings) are also eligible for the offer, if they travel together on the same booking.
If you are travelling with your child, you can reserve his or her ticket at the same time as yours. However, he or she would not be eligible for the special offer by Air Transat and pvtistes.net.
This special offer applies to flights from Europe to Canada and flights from Canada to Europe.
It can be used as many times as you wish during the validity of your IEC or study permit.
Choose between two fare options
If you buy an ECO BUDGET ticket (no checked luggage included), this special offer will allow you to add ONE PIECE OF CHECKED LUGGAGE at no extra charge.
Travelling with two pieces of luggage? No worries, you can add a second piece of checked luggage at a later date for a fee and fly with up to two pieces of checked luggage in total (23 kg max each).
If you buy an ECO STANDARD ticket, a piece of checked luggage is already included in the price. This special offer will allow you to add another piece of checked luggage at no extra charge, so you’ll be able to travel with TWO PIECES OF CHECKED LUGGAGE in total (23 kg max each).

The (not so) fine print for the Air Transat offer
- Maximum allowance per passenger is two pieces of checked luggage, 23 kg each. Adding a third piece of luggage is not possible with these fares.
- Maximum weight for each piece of checked luggage is 23 kg. Height + width + length must not exceed 158 cm (62 in).
- Each passenger is entitled to board with one piece of hand luggage and one personal item which are both subject to size restrictions. Maximum dimensions for your carry-on are 23 × 40 × 51 cm (9 × 16 × 20 in). Read Air Transat’s baggage allowance for more details.
- Special items (e.g. sporting equipment, music instruments) are not included in this special offer.
- The offer can’t be applied to transport of pets in the checked baggage hold. However, you can apply it to a regular piece of checked luggage and pay a separate fee to travel with your pet. For more info, read Pets and assistance dogs.
- Seat selection and gourmet meals are available with this special offer.
- Please note that this offer cannot be applied to codeshare flights (where one of the flight segments is operated by another airline partner), to "connectair by Air Transat" flights or to routes involving a train "Train + Air" segment. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotion or promo code.

Super good plan even if it was a little complicated at the Toronto airport.
Indeed, during the presentation of my coupon during registration, the woman made me understand that “it was not valid” especially since she did not understand everything since it was written in French . After insisting, she asked one of her superiors who confirmed the partnership with this site and suddenly it worked. Phew! An English translation could perhaps make things easier for the return but in any case it helped me so good plan at the top! 🙂

I arrived on August 5 via air transat and I benefited from the 17kg coupon in addition. it was super simple to obtain and I was able to retrieve the coupon via my application directly on the pvtistes.net site.
I received the coupon only a few days after my request, it was super fast !!!
and fortunately that this formula now exists in the backward direction … I think there will be a need for it 🙂

I had booked my plane ticket for June 12 online. Following an incident, I had to postpone the flight to June 19. So I telephoned Air Transat so that they could make this change and even if I had validated my first flight on the pvtiste.net site, the postponement of the 17kg supp offer was no problem with the voucher that i had edited the first time …

I went through Air transat for my trip. Thanks to the good PVtiste plan I was able to benefit from the additional 17 kilos 15 days before the trip, as planned.
To have these 17 kg, I followed to the letter what was described on Pvtiste and I encountered NO problem.
Once at the airport everything went well, you just really have to print everything Air Transat sends you, even if it doesn’t seem like a coupon as you can imagine. The lady at the check-in wanted to see everything I had received. After that, she checked in my luggage and it was good!
