Posting your extension application

Now that you’ve filled in the application form for your extension, attach any other requested documents (2 passport-size photos, a certified copy of your passport, proof of 3 months of seasonal work, and proof of funds/onward plane ticket).

Then, go to your local post office to post your application. You will see that the immigration website offers two options: a postal address and a courier address. Use the courier address. Sending by courier costs a few more dollars than regular post, but it is quicker and you will also receive a tracking number. It is always reassuring to know that your precious application hasn’t been lost along the way!
