Globe WHV Insurance Reviews

I was hospitalized urgently and I could not call the insurance from the first days. Despite a complicated first start, everything quickly improved. The insurance contacts are all very friendly and available to answer our questions. Simply send them the required documents to initiate the process of covering hospital costs and reimbursement. Advice all the same: if you can, tell your insurance as soon as you go to the emergency room, even if it is not a very serious case. The sooner you inform them, the faster your support will be 🙂

I recommend Globe PVT at 200%. I subscribed to it during my PVT year and then, satisfied, I subscribed during my second year in Colombia (no longer in PVT). First of all, because I was going on a working holiday and I am registered on this site, I was able to benefit from a reduction. In addition, upon my arrival in Colombia, I was seriously ill (pneumonia), the team of Globe PVT was very serious and attentive, in direct contact with the clinic and the doctors and quick in the reimbursement process, in short very effective.
Fortunately, I had other less serious illnesses (such as cystitis, conjunctivitis, etc.). When the costs are less than 150 euros it seems to me, you just have to send the scanned docs by email and that’s it.
Comparing insurance prices, it’s really great value for money. Thank you PVTistes for recommending this insurance, it’s great

I (unfortunately) had to use my Globe PVT insurance following an emergency hospitalization in Toronto. I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and quality of the care. An insurance service doctor immediately called me the hospitalization declaration made in order to know my condition, my care and he called me each day of my hospitalization to take my news and speak to me, while being very attentive. Also, financially, I had little to do except fill out a form and sign it, but the insurance managed all this part directly with the hospital thanks to the correspondent on site. Thus, all of my hospitalization was covered by their organization, without any request for advance payment. I highly recommend this insurance which has helped me a lot.

I subscribed to Globe PVT after comparing different insurances. I was won over by the extent of the damage covered, the possibility of contacting them very easily on the forum and by the reduction they offer to PVTists. I have had to call on them 3 times since I left, they have always been responsive. The answers are simple, precise and quick. Refunds are made within a few days, to a French or foreign account. In short, I recommend!

I subscribed to Globe PVT for my PVT Canada which has just ended. Unfortunately, it ended with a double sprain of the foot with bone tearing following a fall on the stairs.
Sharone on the messaging system of the PVTistes site and the people I had at Globe PVT were very reactive.
The fees in Canada are very expensive and I was reimbursed for almost all of my fees, including the orthopedic consultation at $ 700 which stings a little … The only expense that was not reimbursed because excluded from the contract was my immobilizer boot, which was essential to me and is still a significant expense ($ 200) so it’s good to know before …
Otherwise, reimbursements are made within 2 weeks after sending the documents and can be made in several installments (as and when we receive the invoices).
In conclusion I recommend PVT globe !! 🙂

I add a little comment if people like me have a chronic pathology, things go quickly:
mail to the doctor on January 10 to explain my pathology in detail. On January 12, he confirms to me that I can subscribe to the insurance contract and he sends me the certificate concerning the exclusion of costs related to my pathology to be completed, signed, and scanned. From that moment on, you can subscribe without any problem. I proceeded and paid for my membership yesterday on the 14th and sent him the exclusion certificate by email with my membership number. This morning even if everything was ok it still reassures: ultimate confirmation from the doctor by email, I’m covered! And I’m leaving tomorrow January 16! So it goes quickly, very good follow-up, .. me who does things a little at the last moment!
