Interviews with Working Holiday Makers
Since 2005, pvtistes.net has been dedicated to sharing the various experiences lived during a Working Holiday Visa (WHV) through stories and interviews. With this project, we wanted to give a central place to the voices of working holiday participants, showing that there are as many different WHVs as there are working holiday makers.
To do this, we conducted interviews over several months with about thirty of them, who agreed to share their life journeys, their doubts, their regrets, their discoveries, their moments of happiness, and many anecdotes – in short, everything that makes up a WHV!
We were truly moved by everyone who agreed to take part in this project, and we hope you will be as well!

I already did a Working Holiday Visa in South Korea in 2018 and I’m hesitant to do another one in another country. Reading the testimonials of people who have done two Working Holiday Visas and who absolutely do not regret their decision reinforces my idea of going back!
Allows you to have various information and personal opinions.
Having diverse opinions and realistic feedback from people who have experienced it firsthand is essential.
The only slight drawback is the difficulty in finding specific information that one might hope to find in the guide. Everyone has their own experience, and the ways they experience it vary enormously from one to the next, making it difficult to “find oneself” in the words of some.
Otherwise, thank you so much for the time, investment, and resources made available for free on your website/social media. A lot of time saved and worries saved thanks to you! 😉
Feedback and feelings before departure
The live streams are useful because they answer questions that I would have asked myself too late?
To know what jobs to do abroad
To be reassured that solutions are always available
To confirm my decision to leave!
A synthetic approach, real testimonies
To become even more aware that going on a Working Holiday Visa was truly what I wanted.
To let myself know that I wasn’t the only one with loved ones who negatively questioned my choice.
On people’s experiences
compare my motivations to those of people who have already had this type of experience
