Interviews with Working Holiday Makers
Since 2005, pvtistes.net has been dedicated to sharing the various experiences lived during a Working Holiday Visa (WHV) through stories and interviews. With this project, we wanted to give a central place to the voices of working holiday participants, showing that there are as many different WHVs as there are working holiday makers.
To do this, we conducted interviews over several months with about thirty of them, who agreed to share their life journeys, their doubts, their regrets, their discoveries, their moments of happiness, and many anecdotes – in short, everything that makes up a WHV!
We were truly moved by everyone who agreed to take part in this project, and we hope you will be as well!

Everyone’s way of thinking is different in different places. We’re interested in families. There are few of them…
And with family trips and pets, there’s no small suggestion for the next ones!
Reduce the apprehension of departure, fully understand the first steps upon arrival, and above all, know that it’s there in case of doubt!
Regarding the PDF, I converted it so I could use it directly on my Kindle e-reader. For me, paper books don’t matter much. As for Parole de PVT, I’d be willing to buy it digitally on Amazon or elsewhere if necessary!
I felt reassured reading other people’s testimonies and experiences.
It was quite nice to read about the different life experiences around the world, the places where the PVT holders have lived, what they liked. It makes you want to travel =D
Lovely testimonials that help you decide and take the plunge! The motivation and desire to do a Working Holiday Visa was already there, but reading this book makes you want to get out there and explore even more!
This book is a great source of information, comprehensive and very informative.
Thank you so much for all the work you’ve done.
Best regards,
Mélina
It helps us to get an idea of where we want to go but also to realize that each experience is unique and not to generalize it!
To better understand how it works and to reassure myself about the procedures and the trip?
I realized that we were all wondering at the beginning of the trip! I have been in Canada for almost a month, and I am tormented by the meaning to give, the job to find, the accommodation etc… These testimonies give me back balm to the heart and hope in the fact that everyone in the end finds their way.
Very useful for guidance and support in choosing a working holiday visa… and warning of certain situations specific to certain countries. Very informative and encouraging.
