Interviews with Working Holiday Makers
Since 2005, pvtistes.net has been dedicated to sharing the various experiences lived during a Working Holiday Visa (WHV) through stories and interviews. With this project, we wanted to give a central place to the voices of working holiday participants, showing that there are as many different WHVs as there are working holiday makers.
To do this, we conducted interviews over several months with about thirty of them, who agreed to share their life journeys, their doubts, their regrets, their discoveries, their moments of happiness, and many anecdotes – in short, everything that makes up a WHV!
We were truly moved by everyone who agreed to take part in this project, and we hope you will be as well!

It allowed me to know if this is really what I want to do.
Very useful for getting different feedback 🙂 I found this PDF book very interesting.
However, for the next version, would it be possible to balance the testimonials by country visited? Some countries are over-represented (Canada, New Zealand), while others only have one testimonial… it’s a shame.
Information gathering, feedback, administrative advice upon arrival, place of residence, tourism, work. However, I found that there was a lack of experience from people who had traveled solo, especially in Latin American countries. And feedback on having worked in Latin America.
Hello Alexiane, this is quite revealing about the PVTs in Latin America, job search is difficult there 🙁 We have just released a comparative file of the PVT countries in Latin America which should interest you: https://pvtistes.net/dossiers/quel-pays-amerique-latine-choisir-pvt/ 🙂
This book allowed me to have opinions from people who have done a PVT, and it gave me advice on how to successfully complete my PVT.
To find out a little more about future working holiday visas
From advice to future WHV holders, to a catalog of stories from former WHV holders, to beautiful objects for traveling on site, a wealth of information gathered on the ground, like short Arte reports on a different destination and perspective each time. Bravo
Discover the multitude of experiences and possibilities to make you want to go even more!
Learn about Australian culture.
How to handle administrative procedures before and afterward (visa, banking, insurance, etc.)
It reassured me that leaving without having a well-calculated plan wasn’t completely crazy 🙂
