The reimbursement process is not very complicated, but you must have all the requested papers.
Very bad service.
I was hospitalized during my stay in Canada. I sent them by post (because yes, email is not enough), the originals of my invoices and supporting documents requested by ACS.
It’s been almost 2 years since I got any answers from them even after multiple reminders. They are literally playing dead. I suspect them of not wanting to reimburse my invoice ($1300 anyway)
I do not recommend taking this insurance at all.
Edit: everything was finally settled.

I am sorry that your experience with our Claims Department does not satisfy you.
The Globe PVT contract is a private insurance contract, it offers a set of guarantees, with limits and exclusions.
To process a reimbursement request, our team needs a set of supporting documents, including the original invoices when they exceed €500. For some requests, it may be necessary to send us additional elements so that our team can decide whether this is guaranteed or not.
I am surprised that you indicate that we do not respond to your emails, because this is not at all our habit. However, it happens that our responses end up in spam, which is very regrettable, our policyholders then think that we leave them without answers. Have you checked your spam?

I have nothing in my spam unfortunately.
I sent all the requested items by post. ACS contacted me again to ask me for one last document, a “statement of emergency department accounts”, but it was impossible to get details on what it is (from ACS). This is why my file has not progressed for 2 years despite my numerous reminders to resolve the situation.

Thanks for your feedback.
I think I understand what you are being asked (having worked in the claims department for a while :)).
And for spam, it is generally automatically deleted every 30 days. So if there have been several exchanges for more than a month, then these messages are no longer there.
I speak from experience!
I suggest you give me your contact details in a private message to find your file and then I will send all this to the medical department and we will see.

Currently on PVT in a country and victim of an attack 6 days ago I am already very satisfied with the exchanges with Global PVT.
These contacts, as well as those of the French consulate which accompanies me, allow me today to be assured of care and preventive checks.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been taken care of this much and that’s already a very good thing even if my PVT experience was to end soon.
Advisors are available especially via the PVTistes platform and we are called back quickly to answer our questions. It is nevertheless difficult to make a judgment on a potential claim to be opened or covered as long as we are not concerned but in any case the fact of being able to speak and have follow-up with a real person via the PVTistes partnership is a big plus
