I received an email from Desjardins mentioning certain modifications to be made before my opening, such as the address. Only I don’t know how to access my account to finalize my request to open an account……
I would like to know how do you connect to desjardins knowing that I only have a confirmation code?????

I opened my account at Desjardins, to transfer my funds before my arrival, but impossible to make the transfer of funds, because they require an international transfer, while I was gradually transferring to my cousin’s account who is in Montreal, to save for my stay. My cousin tried to make the transfer to my Desjardins account impossible. It’s really stressful, because I’m traveling on August 15 in 1 and a few weeks, knowing we have to show the account statement at the airport.
My cousin moved to go to the agency, he called customer service. Still nothing is settled. How do I transfer my funds? It stresses me out too much. I need a solution please.

I strongly advise against this bank, I have not even been with them for a week and I have called customer service at least 10 times for problems, I went to the branch twice, the day I had my apartment I had to make an interrac transfer to be able to have the keys, surprise Desjardins had blocked my account.. only repeated problems, blocking of cards, account, interrac profile, I’m already fed up.. I still want to note the kindness and availability of the advisers but plan to close as soon as possible… time-consuming

You can pre-open your account at http://www.desjardins.com/open account, then you will receive your Desjardins RIB by email, then you can make your 1st international transfer, then you can finalize your account in Canada, then you can make payments or transfers to a Desjardins account in Canada.
Before finalizing the account in Canada, we recommend that you make an international transfer directly from your French account to the Canadian account of your interlocutor.

A – We invite you to consult our reference site http://www.desjardins.com/OpenCompte and to answer the form to the best of your knowledge by filling in the mandatory fields.
• For the “Address in Canada” section
o You can let us know the district where you think you will live even temporarily or work to allow us to choose the most practical Caisse (=agency) for you.
o Subsequently we can modify it with your final address.
B – Subsequently, our team dedicated to new arrivals will send you by email your Bank Identity Statement (RIB) which will allow you to make your 1st international fund transfer, if you wish (remember to check your SPAM folder or mail undesirable) …)

Hello,

It seems that there is a problem on the Desjardins site when I try to make an account opening request from outside Canada (I am currently in France).

Indeed, in step 2 it is not possible to indicate a Canadian postal code. It is impossible to enter letters or numbers, which makes the form impossible to validate.
