Completing your application — Photo ID
You must upload a recent ID photo. It must be a JPEG or JPEG2000 file and meet the Temporary Resident Visa application photograph specifications—review them carefully! As long as requirements are met, it doesn’t matter whether the photo is taken by a professional photographer, a friend at home or in a photo booth.
