The reimbursement of my medical expenses went very well. It was just complicated for me to send my bank document with the swift code.

The refund request procedure is very simple. Up to a certain amount, everything can be done online. If necessary, however, Globe PVT may have to ask you for your medical file in order to take care of you. There are many possibilities for reimbursement and reimbursement is fairly rapid. It is important to consult your contract carefully in order to know what is covered. I recently discovered, for example, that medical appointments leading to work-related sick leave (mental / psychological conditions) could not be covered by Globe PVT. The bill can quickly be high. But for the rest, everything was always taken care of in my case.

Everything was going very well until today … I had several medical exams following abdominal pain in February I contacted them to cover my costs around $ 300 and they asked me the results of these examinations then I provided them with prescription, invoice, receipt … As I was missing a result of an examination which is personal which I could not recover because of this global health situation … It is not not for lack of having tried, because on the spot the nurse told me that they do not have the right to ask me for this information “violation of the patient’s private life” (Article L1110-4 of the health code , it goes up to € 15,000 almond). Bah he simply believes that they do not have to take care of my file by the fact that I did not submit to them this information that I do not have in my possession and which is in no way necessary for the processing of reimbursement of bill … So I have to do another exam that is supposed to cost me $ 800 how do I do it?

I had to go to the dentist for a tooth that hurt me, it was ultimately not a decay but I preferred to have it checked.
I was practically sure that globe pvt would not reimburse me for anything but against all expectations, I was reimbursed for its costs!

Insurance is always a big chunk in the budget, so we hesitate, we compare, we try to save money … In the end I chose Globe and I am very happy with my choice. I thought that I was not going to need it, then some small health concerns, some medical visits (100th in Canada), the drugs which are expensive, the tests etc. the bill is quickly salty! The online refund system works great, it’s fast, sending supporting documents is super simple and refunds are coming soon. The big advantage is the doctors on the assistance platform, I was super impressed with the quality of the service, the doctors are always nice on the phone, the medical follow-up is serious, they take stock before each medical visit … in short just for this service I recommend this insurance, it took a lot of stress away!

I often had to follow up on my symptoms and see the doctor several weeks / months later. The process must be repeated each time for reimbursement and the questions do not reflect the follow-up. So I often have to bypass the questions and explain that the new visit is the result of the first reimbursement process I had done. It works, I get a good refund every time, but it could be improved 🙂

I had to go to an emergency clinic for a little health concern. Small, certainly but expensive! Between repeated specialist consultations, medication, etc. It was easy to get reimbursed on the online platform with Globe PVT. Same thing for the dental emergency. Canada is good but it can quickly cost!

I have subscribed to ACS Globe Partner three times. The first being for a 2 month trip to New Zealand, the second a trip as a tourist to Canada, then I went from tourist status to PVTiste in Canada. So I was able to change contracts easily, that is to say to go from tourist to tourist. I have had quite a few medical visits since I have been in Canada, with specific examinations. I even had to go to the emergency room and do additional exams. ACS always reimbursed me very quickly for the care and examinations carried out. The deadlines have always varied from 2 to 3 weeks, deadlines which I find really reasonable. Even during the pandemic that we are currently experiencing, ACS was able to reimburse me for care (not related to Covid19). I find them to be very professional and I thank them.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a full refund when I received a refund of only half by email the week before. Good surprise therefore.
