We contacted ILAC with a few questions to find out more.
Could you tell us more about the ‘vocational program + work experience’?
ILAC International College offers young people from all around the world an opportunity to study and work in Canada.
The ILACIC vocational programs have been created to help young people to be prepared for the work place in English, to give them the keys to a successful career and learn about customer service, sales, event management, hospitality, business, marketing, business administration, and more recently in the field of health care administration.
Students are going to class during the first half of the program, while working at the same time if they wish to. The paid coop experience/work experience will be completed during the second half of the program (Placement service offered by ILAC International College)
Those programs, lasting from 26 weeks to 2 years are an excellent alternative to the WHV, or the perfect option for a gap year for anyone interested in going to Canada and having an international experience.
