Normally, this isn't necessarily a problem. What matters most is being able to prove that you have the minimum required funds and that they are actually available. Many people submit a bank statement in euros without converting them to Canadian dollars.
However, with only €1700, it could be riskier if the agent looks closely, as the exchange rate fluctuates. If I were you, I'd leave a little extra above the minimum required and bring a recent bank statement showing the amount. A screenshot or statement of your trading account can also be reassuring if some of your funds are held there.
