Urgent Help! My APS expires in 8 days - need to switch from WHV to Talent visa.
I'm a Canadian living in Paris on my 2nd WHV. It was extended while I was here to the pink APS paper.
I've gotten a job offer yesterday and need to apply for a new visa. I'm unable to go thru ANEF, it gives an error. I emailed the prefecture and they said I need to go back to do it from Canada.
But I can't afford the delay to do so, I need to start work.
1. Can I apply for a change of visa from France? Or is it a must to go back to Canada? I read mixed cases.
2. If I can apply from France what process do you recommend for my urgent case?
3. If my APS expires, can I stay 90 day visa free AND apply for a new visa form France?
