WHV - Proof of funds - Sponsorship

I haven't found any information on this forum or on the internet regarding sponsorship for funds for a Working Holiday Visa (WHV).


I'm European, living and working in France. My friend would like to come to France with a WHV, but he doesn't have enough savings for the proof of funds. Can I give him an attestation stating that I can financially support/sponsor him at the beginning of his stay? Perhaps I could obtain an attestation d'accueil and provide my bank statements?

No, he has to prove by himself his own funds with his own bank accounts.
