Work and Travel Activity Plan for the Working Holiday in SOUTH KOREA (H1)
I will be staying in Seoul for one year and planning to work part-time around 15h to 20h per week. Though I will be based in Seoul for most of my stay, I am planning to travel back and forth to other cities too with the goal of immersing myself in the Korean culture and explore the country.
- 6 months of stay in Seoul
- 2 months of stay in Busan
- 4 months of road-trip and WOOFING around the country
- Travel plan during the 6 months of stay in Seoul :
- For the first month of my arrival, I am planning to stay in a hostel as a Workawayer and will use this time being hosted in exchange of services such as maintenance of the place or language exchange to look for a job and meet new people.
- Visit of Seoul and its places of interest : Insadong, Gyeongbokgung, Namsan Tower, Itaewon, Hanok villages, etc…
- Visit of the area around Seoul such as Incheon, Demilitarized Zone, Suwon…
- Taking Korean language lessons, cooking lessons…
- Visit Museums, Markets and cultural sites
- Searching for part-time jobs such as extra-actress , babysitting, escape game actress, translator / proof-reader, native voice-recording…
- Attending seasonal festivals

- Visit of Busan and it’s places of interest : Gamcheon Cultural Village, Gwangandaegyo Bridge, Haeunde Beach and other beaches…

- Travel plan during the 3 months of road-trip (non exhaustive plan) :
- 2 or 3 weeks in Jejudo, to visit National Park, Forest, Hallasan, Seongsan Ilchulbong, Hyeopjae Beach, Jeju Haenyeo Museum, etc…
- 1 week in Gangneung, to visit the traditional markets, try local food, visit the beaches, Gyeongpodae, Anmok Beach Coffee Street, Ojukheon House, etc…
- 1 or 2 weeks in Jeonju, to visit Jeonju Hanok Village, try local food, Gyeonggijeon Shrine, experience Temple stay, etc…
- I am also planning to visit Andong, Suncheon, Taean and Yeosu…
- I will also probably do some WOOFING in countryside areas such as in Gyeongju.
