Bonjour, voici mon travel plan, j'aimerais savoir si cela convient, merci pour tout !

PROGRAM (detailed activity plan)
My accommodation (in all the destinations mentioned below) would be in local neighborhoods for a better integration and understanding of the culture and daily life in the country, ideally in a host family. I do not plan to work more than 20 hours per week, doing odd jobs such as babysitting, waiter in a cafe, barmaid and if possible fulfilling missions (volunteer or short-term) in the tourism field which is my university field of study, only to meet my needs during the stay.
I chose to apply for a PVT in South Korea because I am a traveler passionate about culture and I would like to learn more about Korean culture from the inside (like tasting a wide range of traditional dishes that are unknown and on a local scale), so a year would be perfect for that.

Thanks to the Hellotalk application, I met several people who agreed to host me for a few weeks in the different regions (or nearby) in exchange for some services such as house maintenance for example where I planned to go.
I will use Indeed, Koreabridge, Overseas Korean agencies, etc.

PROGRAM OF MY PVT IN SOUTH KOREA
September > Seoul
• first month in Seoul discovering the capital - always an essential step of a trip - to acclimatize and immerse myself in/in life at the Korean pace and the country's gastronomy while carrying out administrative tasks such as my registration with the Immigration Office correlated with obtaining my Residence Card. This will also allow me a good introduction to continue learning the basics of Korean and in particular its alphabet (hangeul) started in France
• attend the Andong Mask Dance Festival (28-29/09) then visit the region and discover traditional Korea as well as a part of Andong's cultural heritage listed on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage at the beginning of October

October > festival season
Travel across the country to discover festivals and fall foliage. No accommodation in a single city at this time (guesthouse or airbnb preferred).
• first days of October in the Andong region (see September program above)
• Suwon Hwaseong Culture Festival on October 4th and 6th interspersed with a day in Seoul (nearby) on October 5th to enjoy the fireworks festival and its related activities (concerts by Korean artists in particular)
• flight to Jeju and the Tamna Cultural Festival with a first discovery of Jeju Island under its autumn foliage (07-11/10)
• World Gimseng Festival in Geumsam (12-13/10)
• Jinju Namgang Yudeung Festival with its lanterns and fireworks at nightfall > visit the surroundings of the city and schedule future visits in spring (see below / October 14-18)
• Yeoju Ogoknaru Festival to discover the country's ancestral agricultural culture (19-20/10)
• end of the month (21-31/10) and early November to discover the South Chuncheong region with the highlight of the Autumn Flower Festival in Taean

November > go in search of new spaces with autumn colors with a month full of hiking focused on discovering the country's natural heritage.
• early month = end of the visit to the South Chuncheong region & brief one-week stay in Seoul to enjoy the autumn colors of the capital: hiking along the Great Wall of Seoul, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul Forest, Olympic Park, Maeheon Citizens' Forest (former Yanghae Citizens' Forest), Deoksugung Stone Wall Path and Myeongnyungdang Pavilion (Sungkyunkwan University) renowned for their famous thousand-euro trees. Around Seoul: Hwadam Forest in Gwangju, Namiseom Island in Chuncheon, Gangcheonseom Island in Yeoju, Calm Morning Park in Gapyeong and Mount Bukhansan National Park including Bibong Peak Nature Reserve for wildlife watching and panoramic views of Seoul

Gangwon-Do region > one-month stay from mid-November to mid-December
• Sea Train: head to the East Coast aboard the Sea Train from Cheongnyangni Station in Seoul to Jeongdongjin Station with a seaside trip and panoramic seats
• discovery of Northeast Korea with walks and photography under the seasonal foliage, notably in Seorakasan National Park, Hongcheon Ginkgo Forest, Wondaeri Birch Forest & Bimil Park in Inje while visiting more or less hidden temples such as Baekdamsa, to try to understand the history and culture religious of Korea
• Hajodae peninsula for the beginning of winter and the first snows with visits such as the Osan-ri Prehistory Museum and hiking in the Odaesan National Park

• visit Gangneung, a coastal city with a tasting of seafood specialties
• take the A-train which makes a loop in the canton of Jeongseon, in the heart of the province of Gangwon-do
• practice winter sports (notably skiing) on the Olympic sites of Pyeongchang which hosted the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games including Yongpyong Resort and Alpensia Resort internationally recognized
• participate in the Pyeongchang Trout Ice Fishing Festival to practice a traditional winter sport in a relaxed atmosphere: trout fishing on ice and enjoy the range of activities offered (various ice shows and major fishing competitions) - starts around December 22 > return to Seoul after this event

Winter experiences
• temple Stay • meditation and serenity during a comforting and introspective activity by immersing oneself in the monastic life - meditation and prayer + learning with the monks > experience which particularly interests me
• jjimjilbangs • Korean spas and hot springs

Mid-December to mid-January > Seoul, winter festivals & departure for a trip to Japan
Second visit of Seoul which is discovered in its white clothes with its districts and places of interest: Incheon, Myeongdong, Itaewon, Gangnam, Insadong, Seoul Tower, Gyeonggi-do, as well as the different palaces (with the royal pass) such as: Gyeongbokgung Royal Residence Palace, Changdeokgung Palace with its secret garden, Deoksugung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace and Gyeonghuigung Palace which particularly interests me
- visit of the cultural district of the port and the Chinatown of Incheon as well as other destinations and visits around the capital such as the DMZ or the Gangwondo region in the east, via the train as soon as possible
• discovery of the local cuisine and street food of the different districts and places with the aim of realizing the ultimate guide for my blog (personal or professional) and to discover local or exciting atmospheres
• enjoy the end-of-year festivities in the capital:
- Seoul Lantern Festival: admire traditional Korean paper lanterns (Hanji) along the Cheonggyecheon River (installations inspired by folk or contemporary visuals)
- Seoul Light Festival: projections of light creations at Seoul Plaza & Gwanghwamun Square with celebrations and the addition of a Christmas market where you can explore these stands full of unique craft products and seasonal gourmet delights
- Bosingak Bell Ringing Festival for the new year with the Bosingak bell ringing ceremony in Jongno at midnight before going to wait for the sunrise at Haneul Park

• Yeongdong Dried Persimmon Festival in mid-January: taste delicious persimmons in all their forms
• Uljin Snow Crab Festival in Gyeongsangbuk-do province: taste crabs Korean snow (iconic local specialty) + at the Hupo port of Uljin get up early to watch the sunrise from a boat
• tasting of traditional Korean alcohols
• January 20: departure for Japan (study railway trip)

February > travel outside South Korea > stay from January 20 to February 28 (2027) in Japan for a first winter discovery of this neighboring country of South Korea.

March > end of winter and spring blooms
• taste seasonal foods and fruits such as jukkumi (small octopus, emblematic seafood of spring) to be enjoyed in several ways (Shabu-shabu, stir-fried, stewed, grilled...) and strawberries > vegetable and plant season
• return to Seoul for the first week of March to commemorate Independence Movement Day
• Gurye Sansuyu Festival 구례 산수유꽃축제 > celebrates the flowering of sansuyu trees in Gurye. Understand the role of these flowers used in traditional oriental medicine and taste the products made from them = tea, alcohol and food to be enjoyed on site, with performances of music, traditional dances, fireworks...
• in the region, enjoy the famous hot springs of Jirisan Mountain to relax and unwind.
• Gwangyang Maehwa festival 광양매화축제 > at Green Plum Farm (near Mt. Jirisan) located along the Seomjin River in Maehwa Village where you can walk along the paths under the plum blossoms and buy and try organic plum products

JEJU-DO > two-week stay (March 13-28)
Return to Jeju Island, once the birthplace of the Tamna Kingdom and its unique culture listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a more in-depth discovery
• tasting local gastronomy (seafood, black pork)
• swimming and reading Impossible farewells (2023) by Han Kang (work takes place in Jeju) on the island's beaches
• discovering the island by bike > volcanic landscapes, waterfalls, beaches and fruit fields
• hiking Mt. Hallasan - the highest point in the country
• tasting the island's central specialty, barbecue black pig
• go to OSULOC to discover the island's high-grade matcha tea and taste its derivative pastries + museum
• Namjeju District, South Korea
• Jeju Royal Cherry Blossom Festival 제주 왕벚꽃축제 > takes place mainly in the city of Jeju-si and celebrates the country's first cherry blossoms (accompanied by rapeseed flowers present all over the island) with street parades, painting competitions, the Nanta troupe, a music festival among others (March 22-24)

April > SEOUL (one-month stay)
Return to Seoul by plane from Jeju on March 28
• Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival 석촌호수 벚꽃축제 > observe the beauty of the cherry trees at Seoul's Seokchon Lake during walks + musical performances & photograph the famous Lotte Tower surrounded by beautiful cherry trees (on film)
• Yeouido Spring Flower Festival 여의도 벚꽃축제 > observe the several hundred royal cherry trees in bloom on Yunjung-ro Street behind the National Assembly building + cultural art performances, exhibition of floral works, photo gallery displayed for the occasion
• more sedate months with the return of pleasant temperatures accompanied by the rainy season
• templestay at Seonunsan Temple in Gochang, Jeollabuk-do region > camellia flowers at this time, panorama of the Dosolcheon River + sites of the Samin-ri camellia forest in Gochang, temple park & forest nearby

May > Spring Festivals
• Children's Day festivities and Buddha's birthday celebration (early May)
• Boseong Green Tea Festival 보성 다향대축제 > learn how to pick leaves, prepare green tea pots, mold traditional cups and organize tea ceremonies with tastings (May 03-04)
• Daegu Yangyeongsi Medicinal Herb Festival
대구약령시한방문화축제 > learn and understand the major role of plants in traditional Korean medicine + visit the traditional medicine museum (May 05)
• Damyang Bamboo Festival 담양대나무축제 - if possible / around May 11 = optional

• return to Seoul for the Lantern Festival in Lotus around May 10: celebration of Buddha's birthday for three days, many events are organized, especially at Jogyesa and Bogeunsa temples, including a large parade of illuminated lanterns, along Jongno Street for an immersion in Buddhist culture
• cross the valleys of the Baekdudaegan mountain range aboard the V-train. It is connected to the O-Train which connects Seoul Station to Jecheon Station.

June > from Seoul to Busan via the west coast
• G-Train: train from Seoul that serves the main tourist sites of the western coastal areas > travel down the west coast in three to five days (many stops)
• visit the Jeollanam-Do & Gyeongsangnam-Do regions
• visit Busan, its neighborhoods and places of interest: Gamcheon cultural village, suspended train, filming locations (K-pop & K-drama music videos) and the coast...
A more comprehensive visit to the Gyeongsangbuk-do province from Busan: Daegu, Andong, Hahoe, Gyeongju.
• architectural cultural heritage in and around Gyeongju > Bulguksa Temple, Golgul Temple, Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond, Kyongju Observatory & Royal Tombs

CHUNGCHEONG-DO - two-week stay

SEOUL
• excursions and short trips from the capital
• DMZ train also known as the peace train, transports tourists and visitors from Seoul to the stations of the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) for a one or two-day rail excursion > memory work
• July 23: departure for a trip to Japan with my sister in preparation for her studies in the country (ICN > KIX flight)

August > trip to Japan until August 29 then direct return in France or South Korea for a few days before returning to Europe to continue my studies in Tourism

I want to take advantage of my trip to meet new people and thus better understand the rich Korean culture and its many facets. I downloaded the "VISITKOREA" application to be able to find even more places to visit during my stay, I also follow local creators (like Sol Life) for a more concrete vision of the country. I want - as a rail lover - to discover South Korea through its trains like no other for a slower pace, the express buses from Busan and Seoul known for being comfortable and close to an airline business class are also a solution for some more intimate destinations.
I am therefore making this request to better understand and study Korean culture and in particular its cinema, which brings new aesthetic and thematic proposals (Park Chan-wook (one of my favourite directors), Bong Joon-ho and auteur cinema in particular) and its literature, a reflection of a country in constant evolution (Hwang Sok-yong, Han Kang (Nobel Prize for Literature 2024) in particular).

Pour les voyages extérieurs n'ayant pas de réponse claire du KVAC, je serais tentée de dire de ne pas les mentionner au cas où. Après ça m'étonnerait que ce soit un motif de refus, ce serait un peu stricte mais je me dis que dans le doute, autant ne pas le mentionner.

Par contre, le KVAC a indiqué qu'il ne fallait pas mentionner le baby-sitting comme projet de job car il semblerait que ce ne soit pas autorisé d'en faire en PVT.

Pour le reste de ton plan c'est bien, tu donnes beaucoup de détails. Tu peux indiquer éventuellement les périodes de l'année où tu prévois de travailler un peu.

Tu peux simplement dire que tu restes à Séoul comme c'est le lieu où tu seras avant de partir pour le Japon.

Dans ce cas précis, je ne sais pas trop...
Je pense que le mieux, pour les programmes, c'est de rester classique et de ne mentionner que des jobs en hôtellerie/restauration comme ça, on est sûr que c'est ok. Après, une fois sur place, tu verras et tu pourras appeler l'immigration directement pour voir si les jobs sont ok.

And since i'm a fan of korean cinema, k-dramas, i also want to explore some filming sites - Jumunjin beach, Yongin Dae Jang Park, Awon museum - and also participate in famous music festivals like Waterbomb, Music Bank, Inkigayo...The island of Jeju is also part of my travel plan, and i would like to spend at least a few weeks there as well, in spring or summer.I want to travel and meet locals, new people, discover a new culture and explore the country as much as i can. I also would like to work as a florist preferably, since it’s my current job and i want to discover a new side of it in a new country and experience the korean workplace.I’m also planning on taking korean lessons, korean cooking lessons, and experience korean holidays and customs such as Chuseok for example.

Tu n'es pas obligé de te tenir au plan que tu auras présenté pour ta demande de PVT. Le but c'est de leur montrer que tu sais un peu pourquoi tu vas en Corée disons et de leur montrer que tu prévois de bien visiter et pas trop travailler.

Sur le fond c'est bien mais peut-être détailler un peu plus en effet ou faire une présentation qui prenne un peu plus de place sur la feuille ahah.

Activities: Million Dance Studio, visit to
KDRAMA filming locations, cooking class,
visit to MBC and Aqua Planet studios
(Goyang), attend KBS Music Bank, Seoul
Fashion Week and Balksang Arts Awards.
Work plan for the months in Seoul.
Work holiday for 3 months during the 4
months in Seoul.
Maximum 25 hours per week in cafes,
bars, restaurants, cleaning.
Road Trip: Discovery of South Korea from
Go to Suwon, Pyeongtaek, Cheonan,
Daejeon, Iksan, Jeonju, Namwon, Gwangju
and Mokpo and take the boat to Jeju


Back to Seoul:
Working vacation, some odd jobs between
cities (departure from Jeju).
Visits: Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongju, Daegu,
Icheon, Gyeongju, visiting temples,
participating in MAMA Awards, APAN Star
Awards, Halloween in Itaewon, Seoul
International Drama Awards, MBC Drama

Non de 1 ans je serais au début 4 mois a Seoul puis 2 mois pour un roud trip vers jeju en descendent par suwon et remonter pour aller vers busan et retour a seoul pour visiter les petite village aux alentours
