1- Presentation
My name is Julia, I am 29 years old and I come from France. I would like to apply for a Working Holiday Visa in South Korea, with a planned arrival on June 10th, 2026. I plan to stay in South Korea for 12 months.
South Korea is a country that has deeply interested me for many years, especially because of the strong cultural differences compared to France. I am eager to discover a new history, different ways of living and working, as well as Korean cuisine, language and alphabet.
I am already very interested in Korean pop culture, particularly K-pop and K-dramas. As a big fan of make-up and skincare, I am also very excited to explore the world of K-beauty, which is renowned worldwide for its innovation and creativity.
I am already taking Korean lessons twice a week in order to acquire basic language skills before arriving in South Korea.

During my stay in South Korea,I plan to work for a few months (September–February), to better immerse myself in Korean culture. I will arrive with sufficient personal savings, but I would like to gain experience in the local work environment.
I am especially interested in cafés, restaurants, or hotels, as these jobs will allow me to interact with locals and improve my language skills. I also have a diploma in pattern making and experience working on technical files; if opportunities in this field are available in South Korea, I would gladly take them.
