Bonjour, merci pour les modèles, très utiles!

Si j'ai bien compris, même si la structure de base reste la même (1 identité 2 exp pro 3 formation 4 le reste) il faut par rapport au CV français détaillé beaucoup plus ses postes occupé, décrire ses tâches et les qualités acquises?
Pour moi ça risque d'être un peu compliqué, mon métier est très standardisé, juste en voyant le titre il devraient déja avoir une idée bien précise en tête de ma tâche, et si ma description n'ajoute rien à ce qu'ils savent déja, ça le fait pas trop....

Oui C'est ça, la structure est la même. Tu décris ce que tu fais, et au passage tu te vends un peu.
Tu dis que tu fais un métier standardisé, ça n'empêche pas qu'il faut le décrire, même si le titre est parlant. Tu as du également acquérir des pratiques ou des connaissances particulières, achevé un projet ou excellé sur quelques points. Il faut le préciser dans ton CV.

Hello Sophie, en fait il faut masquer les noms des boites, des écoles et les villes sur le site PVT par sur ton CV. Ceci pour respecter ton anonymat voilà ce que voulait dire Noyah je pense

N'indique pas les permis de conduire.
Sur un CV il vaut mieux mettre l'adresse postale, de toute facon avec ton numero de telephone ils verront que tu n'est pas au Canada, a moins d'avoir un num Google Voice Nord Americain.

Si tu n'as que des notions dans une langue n'indique pas cette info sur ton CV.

Pour le Quebec, tout depend a quelle entreprise tu postules, si c'est une compagnie majoritairement anglophone ca passe sinon il vaut mieux avoir son CV en francais. De toute facon le CV doit etre adapte a chaque entreprise.

Salut à tous !

Je suis également en train de rédiger une version canadienne anglophone de mon CV, je dois dire que c'est un sacré boulot de s'adapter !

J'ai un profil de technicien et j'ai notamment beaucoup de mal à traduire mes diplômes : BTS, Bac Professionnel et BEP qui n'ont pas vraiment leur équivalence là bas !

Je suis curieux de connaitre vos solutions et propositions si certains d'entre vous ont déjà été confrontés à ça.

Je pars pour Vancouver le 24 Mai je vais donc recherché un Job et mon petit soucy c'est justement au niveau du Job en question car je ne recherche pas que dans un domaine (serveur, plongiste, caissier... peu importe).

J'aimerai donc savoir si je peux faire un CV généralisé ou dois-je vraiment changer mon "intitulé"/"Objectif" en fonction du travail en question comme pour les deux premiers CV de cette discution "Office management - Department Coordination - Administration Financial Sector"/"Accounting Manager"/... ou ne rien mettre du tout? sinon que faut-il que je mette à la place?

Je suis pas une spécialiste. Mais vu les conseils que j'ai reçu je dirais que pour un boulot alimentaire inutile de mettre un objectif. Tu mets juste l'intitulé du poste. Ensuite dans les compétences tu mets les compétences (savoir et savoir être) qui sont utiles selon toi ou selon l'annonce pour occuper le job.

Je pense que ce n'est pas grave de ne pas mettre d'intitulé. Mais il vaut mieux avant de déposer ton CV savoir le job que tu voudrais faire vu qu'ils vont te poser la question. Perso quand le manager me reçoit il me fait limite une petite entrevue "pourquoi tu veux travailler chez nous" et ensuite te propose un entretien (j'en ai pas déposé énormément jusque là donc c'est pas dit que ça se passe comme ça dans 100% des cas)

Effectivement je compte bien me poser la question après avoir rédigé mon CV et ma lettre de motivation qui ne seront que des lettre type que je modifierai au fur et à mesure et n'étant pas très à l'aise avec mon anglais c'est ça qui va me mettre en difficulté mais avec mes deux potto "motivation" et "persévérance" ont va tout faire pour améliorer ça très vite

.

Je suis à la base dans le commerce mais je me vois mal chercher un job direct dans ce domaine avec un anglais si "pauvre" d'où mon envie d'aller plutôt vers des métiers qui pourront me le faire travailler plus facilement que lors d'entretiens de vente...

Attention à ne pas utiliser trop de verbes généraux comme "do, make, manage, put..." Il faudrait des actions plus précises pour bien définir ce que tu as fait dans tes expérience. Je pense que tu peux décrire tes expériences avec moins de points, il faudrait te limiter à 5 points maximum par expérience. A ta place, je mettrai le volontariat en haut, avec les expériences.
