Australia and NZ are indeed popular destinations but Australia allow almost everyone to get one if they apply. If Canada had the same rules, last year they would have received much much more than 25000 French with a WHV. Montreal alone would have done better than 25000.
But you're right, we cannot say that these destinations are not popular. We can only presume that if these were French speaking countries, more French would go there.

It's one thing if getting a WHV was guaranteed but waiting this long to potentially not get anything, feels like a complete waste of my time. *sigh*
On the bright side, Spring is almost here and I'm visiting friends in Edinburgh. \o/ I'm going out later to take photos of the city. How are you distracting yourself while waiting for your visa?

- 18/03/15, 12:28 #158Same here, but i'm searching for a job in Canada, in case i can go earlier in Canada with a JP. Buuuuut i know it's a hard process to find from France, so beside this, i busy my mind with the permanent residence paperwork.
And yeah sunny dayz make me want to buy new clothes, so that's what i do
