Almamida Voici ce que m'a écrit une personne qui vit à Toronto (c'est elle qui m'a dirigée vers la rental map):
"I think there are often vacancies and sublets available in Toronto but unless your budget is over $1200 CAD per month then you will be living with roommates. (...)
High Park -- lovely area, very neighbourhoodly, but takes some time to get to downtown by transit (if that's what you want)
Beaches -- same as above except it's on the other end of town. Transit to and from downtown is very time-consuming, but the area feels great, quiet, friendly and beautiful.
Eglinton and Yonge -- lots of young people and families have purchased condos in this area, so everything is young(ish) and booming in development, and many people prefer it to downtown. I personally don't find this area has a lot of character, but what do I know, I have never lived there.
Personally, it is all a matter of preference. I prefer to live downtown (I am in The Annex, near Bathurst subway station) with 1 roommate in an old 4-storey walk-up building, because I can ride my bike and access places quickly by the subway"
Dans tous les cas on se fera un avis une fois là bas, mais ça peut aider d'avoir le ressenti de gens sur place.
